Overnight, Moscow's aerial assaults have led to electricity outages in extensive areas of Ukraine's capital, Kyiv.
Several individuals were wounded while inhabitants in eastern districts were experienced blackouts and dealt with interruptions to drinking water, as stated by local authorities.
At the same time, a minor was fatally injured in a distinct assault in the Zaporizhzhia area in the southeastern part, according to regional authorities.
Moscow has increased attacks on energy facilities over recent weeks, while the country's government has called for "substantial measures" from allies to exert influence on Moscow.
"The necessity is not superficial actions but strong steps - from the America, European nations and the major economies - in supplying protection systems and implementing penalties," mentioned in a public message.
Authorities reported that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and several dozen missiles attacked energy facilities, labeling such attacks as "premeditated" and against "essential services" as winter approaches.
The energy minister said Moscow was "inflicting a massive strike" and repair crews were working to restore power.
A wave of strikes hit energy infrastructure and apartment buildings in the capital.
Several of the people hurt in the attacks on the capital have been taken to hospital, per statements from local officials.
Regional authorities said the city endured intense attacks during nighttime hours. A seven-year-old child lost their life and three other people were wounded.
The strikes follow evenings of air raids in the area, portions of which remain under the control of invading troops.
The entire country is on alert for advanced weapon attacks, which are tougher to spot.
Authorities told reporters that Moscow was intentionally trying to destroy the national power system, with strikes already affecting energy systems.
Authorities confirmed technical personnel and authorities were preparing for further attacks.
